Shenzhen Futian Sports Park is a comprehensive urban sports and public recreational facility featuring sports venues, steel structures, glass curtain walls, and other architectural facilities. As these structures are exposed to outdoor conditions for extended periods, their elevated surfaces can accumulate dust, dirt, and other contaminants, creating an ongoing need for cleaning and maintenance.

The customer involved in this project is a professional cleaning service company that provides high-altitude cleaning services for large public facilities and other buildings. With different building heights and structural conditions to address, conventional high-altitude cleaning methods can involve limitations in terms of personnel safety, equipment deployment, and operational flexibility.

To meet the practical requirements of its high-altitude cleaning operations, the customer selected the VastArrive D15R high-altitude cleaning drone and put it into actual cleaning operations at Futian Sports Park.

Customer Requirements

For the customer, the objective was not simply to acquire another cleaning machine, but to find a high-altitude cleaning method that could be integrated into its existing cleaning services.

The sports park includes various elevated structures and operates as an open public facility. The customer therefore needed a solution that could:

During operations at Futian Sports Park, cleaning personnel did not need to carry cleaning equipment to elevated locations. After takeoff, the operator controlled the drone from the ground and guided it toward the target facility. When working across different building surfaces and cleaning areas, the operator could adjust the drone’s flight position in real time to keep the cleaning system within the appropriate working area.

The D15R then used high-pressure water to remove accumulated dust and dirt from the surfaces of the facilities.

For elevated structures within the sports park, this approach reduces the need for personnel to directly access high-altitude cleaning positions while allowing the cleaning team to perform the main operation from the ground.
