Drones Transport Injured People in Mountainous areas: “Aerial Stretchers” Solve Rescue Challenges on the Plateau

At an altitude of 3,000 meters on the border of the Plateau, a hiker fell and injured his right leg, suffering
moderate altitude sickness. Traditional ground rescue was hampered by the rugged mountain roads and impassable vehicles, while emergency rescue was hampered by the canyon posing a safety hazard. At this critical moment, a rescue team carrying a heavy-duty medical transport drone quickly arrived at the scene and launched a “harmonious air-ground” rescue operation.
