Traditional manual inspections require checking each factory individually, discovering only 2-3 hidden pollution points per year on average; fixed monitoring stations also have data coverage blind spots. In 2024, the local ecological and environmental department introduced a vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing drone pollution source monitoring system, launching a new precise law enforcement model of ‘air-ground coordination’.
